Privacy policy

This explains what we collect when you use ClientOkay, and what we do with it. We don't sell personal data.

If you have an account

  • Your name, email address and workspace details.
  • The clients and contacts you add, and the files, links and text you upload.
  • Your plan and subscription status. We never see or store card details.

If you're a client reviewing work

  • The name and email address you enter, your decisions and your comments.
  • The date and time of what you do, a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, and your browser details. These go into the record of the approval.

The agency that sent you the link decides what's shared with you and holds that record. For questions about their use of your details, contact them first.

Why we use it

To run the service: show work to reviewers, send the emails it needs, keep the approval record, and handle billing. We also use it to keep the service secure, for example by limiting repeated attempts.

Emails

We send emails about requests, such as review requests, reminders and receipts, plus account and billing notices. Client-facing emails don't include tracking pixels.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember who you are on a review link. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

Who processes data for us

  • Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
  • Vercel: hosting.
  • Resend: sending email.
  • Dodo Payments: checkout, billing and tax, as merchant of record.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your workspace is active. The activity log is a record of proof and can't be edited or partly removed while the request exists. To have your workspace deleted, email us.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, including complaining to a data protection authority.
